The Satsuma That Rolled Along The Platform At Brondesbury Park - Acrylic on canvas, 20x20cm (Dec 2022)
- Acrylic, gloss varnish on canvas, 20cm x 20cm x 1cm - A still life study of a Satsuma picked up from the platform of a London railway station a couple of days ago, here it is with that apple from a North London tree. Another of the still ongoing fruit and vegetable paintings, the "Fruit Shop Paintings" - something that started with the Ridley Road Lemon back in 2019 and has taken me to a market stall full of paintings, an actual old East London Greengrocers shop for a solo Fruit Shop show and, a Fruit stall at the Art Car Boot Fair a couple of years ago, and onward it goes.
The painting is signed in my traditional way with an "S" on the actual artwork and fully signed, dated and titled on the back
All work is sent direct from my studio here in East London. Order will be dispatched within three days of the end of the fair and buyers will get a personal confirmation e.mail to let you know the art is on the way.
