This one is painted on the dust jacket of a rather beauitful 1930 edition of Kenneth Grahame's The Wind in The Willows, it is painted on the front cover, a compination of acrylic paint, ink pen work and gloss varnish. The book is sigmed and dated by the artist on the back cover and of course you can still read it...
I found the book in a skip about a year ago and immediately thought I wanted to do something with it. I love the worn loved feel of this book, I adore that Muriel E Baker wrote her name in ink inside in July 1931.
