This one is painted on the cover of an old Penguin paperback 1932 edition of Eric Stanley Gardener's The Case of the Half-Wakened Wife. A perry Mason story. A 1956 publication and a well read copy of a classic Penguin paperback
The book is painted on the front cover, a combination of acrylic paint, ink pen work and gloss varnish. The book is sigmed and dated by the artist on the back cover and of course you can still read it...
I found the book on a wall a couple of weeks ago...
